When I was creating this year’s batch of Rusty comics for the 24 hour comic challenge, I called my son to suggest some ideas for comics. Along with today’s comic, which was the suggestion of Rusty in a race, he also suggested this one, which was Rusty trying on shoes.

Up! Fair

This Saturday, I will be a guest at the inaugural Up! Fair in Lexington, Kentucky. This will be my last convention for the year so I’m hoping to end the year on a good note with a convention that celebrates independent creators and publishers.

The convention is free to attend so if you’re around the Lexington area, feel free to stop in and have a look around. The show will have several interesting panels and workshops for people of all ages and plenty of guest creators that would love to talk comics (and of course sell you stuff).

This weekend, I will be a guest at the Mid-Ohio Con in Columbus, OH. If you’re in or around the area, I’d love to meet you so head on down to the Greater Columbus Convention Center. You’ll find me in the Creators Common area at table CC41, and I will have plenty of copies of my first Business Casual book, Agile Development, along with several mini comics, sketch cards, and original art from Rusty The Wonderdog. I’ll also be doing a limited number of commissions at the show.

I gotta think that if actual anthropomorphic beings existed, there would be a huge fallout from their first foray into the world of furries.

Do you need something to do this weekend? Are you brave enough to battle the cold Minnesota weather for some good comic times? If so, why don’t you head over to the Grandstand building at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The annual Fallcon will be held this weekend (October 10-11) from 10 am – 5 pm both days. I will one of many guest creators at the convention and look forward to meeting as many people as I can. Along with my sketch cards and my Business Casual merchandise, I will be selling original art from Rusty The Wonderdog. Be sure to stop by and have a look.

October is just around the corner, and I’ll once again be a guest at Fallcon on October 10-11. This 2 day convention is held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds and is loads of fun. I’ll be selling the original art from the the Rusty comic collection at the convention along with several Business Casual items. I’ll also have a selection of sketch cards available as well.
